Blog Post 10: The smells in every room of an old hotel are over powering.

A new owner purchased an abandoned historic hotel he intended to restore. He found every room was filled with odors that were overpowering. Insects and animals had taken over the hotel as it had been left vacant for many years. Old mattresses and leaking ceilings were introducing odors that made it difficult to even work in the hotel. As construction crews began to remove the old materials they were left with residual odors that seemed to have become permanent residents of the hotel. He also purchased the old bar adjacent to the hotel and wanted to open it as quickly as possible. The residual smells in the old bar remained a problem even after renovation. He purchased several Whiffer Zappers. He put two in the old bar and then moved a few around the old hotel rooms from time to time. It took some time but the old smells were captured by the Whiffer Zappers and the bar freshened up so that customers no longer mentioned the old smells. The renovation of the hotel is now progressing absent the offending odors.
