Whiffer Zapper combines an electrically powered fan with biochar, a highly porous carbon-based material that can adsorb certain odor-causing volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

The biochar is enclosed in a breathable fabric bag inside the Whiffer Zapper.  The fan circulates air through the unit, allowing airborne compounds to come into contact with the biochar.  

Unlike scented air fresheneres that mask odors, Whiffer Zapper is designed to help reduce odor-causing compounds without adding fragrances to the air.
